Villa
Schifanoia, with its private swimming pool and tennis court, is a
beautiful l8th/19th century villa, situated in a 12 acre park with
century-old trees and spacious lawns. It is in the midst of a region
that offers many possibilities for excursions and day trips to Umbrian
and Tuscan towns. It is 54 kilometers north of Perugia. The interior
is beautifully furnished (with frescoed walls). On the ground floor
are two spacious living rooms, both with fireplaces, a large entrance
hall with a sitting area, a dining room with fireplace, a study, a
TV room, a guest bedroom with twin beds and a large bathroom, and
a guest toilette. On the upper level, reached by a beautifully hand-carved
oak stairway, are the bedrooms: two master bedrooms each with its
own bathroom and in the guest wing are 3 double bedrooms and 2 singles
with 2 bathrooms. Extra amenities include a billiard and a ping-pong
room. Service quarters include a twin bedroom and bathroom.
