The discerning British owners of La Flora have been tenants themselves at properties in Tuscany for years.  Recently, when restoring La Flora, they have taken into consideration their past experiences.  They furnished the house to a high standard with all of the comforts they were expecting in a rental property, yet in total respect of the Tuscan tradition and at the same time with all modern amenities.  The spacious bedrooms are all of the same standard:  air conditioned and with en-suite bathrooms.  A grand piano is available in the sitting room and the kitchen is an impressive combination of high-tech and traditional appliances.  Despite being very close to Lucca - the town centre is only 6 kms away - it is located in a very quiet setting popular with those who love walking and jogging in a quiet and historical surrounding.  A particular feature of La Flora is the unusually large infinity swimming pool  (20x5 meters).  The pool is plastered in grey with blue reflexes, totally fenced for children's safety.  The photos were taken in the summer of 2007 before the landscaping was completed and do not do justice to the beauty of the garden and pool area.
