La Cortebracco was originally a 16th Century hunting
lodge that the owner, an art dealer, has just restored to a very high
standard, with fine taste and good comfort. The elegant interiors,
furnished throughout with antiques, complement the character of the
property making it a smart retreat with plenty of charm. It is equipped
with all modern comforts and all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The
property is situated on the hills north of Lucca, only 5 kms from the
town, in a peaceful position with glorious views on the surrounding
countryside. The lovely garden and in particular the nice large veranda
– ideal for al fresco dining - provide the perfect environment for a
totally relaxing holiday. A swimming pool is being installed in the most
panoramic position of the garden. Unfortunately as this was under
construction while the brochure was being prepared, we were unable to
include photographs of the pool.
