This villa, dating from the 16th Century, still retains the atmosphere of a traditional Tuscan residence. The central part of the villa and the right wing have recently been totally restored, maintaining the cotto floors and the beamed ceilings, yet adding all modem comforts. To the front of the villa, there is a beautiful stone courtyard where it is possible to enjoy the meals prpeapred by the helpful staff, who lives on the premises. Just 100 meters away in a panoramic position, a swimming pool was installed among the olive groves. Villa di Montelopio is situated in the Pisan countryside, just 15 minutes drive from the medieval village of Castelfalfi, now a holiday resort with swimming pool, tennis court and 18 hole golf course. The famous Tuscan cities and towns of Volterra, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena are easily accessible from the property.
