Villa
La Castellaccia can be dated back to the year 1000. Since 1614 the
villa has been in the Aloigi Luzzi family, an aristocratic family
from the region. The property is surrounded by agricultural land and
woods with the Valtiberina valley serving as a stunning backdrop to
the property. The interior has remained unaltered as not to
compromise the original architecture: domical vaults, private chapel
dating back to 1700. The furnishings are high quality antiques with
everyday amenities such as: stereo, television, modem connection,
telephone and fax. The main living room is a wonderful gallery with
frescos, antique furniture and family portraits. The owners live in
a separate wing of the villa (with separate entrance) and look after
the garden and swimming pool.
