beautiful villa set in the rolling hills between San Miniato and Volterra and surrounded
by woods, vineyards and olive groves. There are wonderful views down the valley of
unspoiled countryside. Just a few kilometers from the villa are the beautiful villages of
Montaione, San Gimignano and Volterra. Le Ferrine has been carefully
restored by its owners, who have retained the original features of the
house, such as the original cotto floors, and they furnished it with a
very practical taste. A particular feature of this property is the
large, vaulted sitting room, opening on to a vaulted porch furnished for
outdoor meals. The porch faces the beautiful garden. The
renowned 18 hole golf course in Castelfalfii with its glorious vies is
only thirty minutes away. The one kilometer of unpaved road
leading to the villa is not suitable for very low sport cars.
