Ilaria
is a charming farmhouse located in a quiet area, known as the Chianti of the Pisan hills.
It is an area of outstanding beauty, with hamlets and 19th century villas, set among olive
groves and vineyards, and has been the subject of many paintings by famous artists of the
Macchiaioli school. The house has recently been restored very tastefully by its discerning
owners, who live in there all winter, and rent it during the summer months. The interiors
are furnished to a very high standard with beautiful antique pieces, and there are all
modern comforts, including satellite TV. The property is completely fenced and has a large
flat garden, making it very safe for families with young children. It is 15 minutes away
from both motorway and highway exits, and therefore a convenient base for day trips to
many Tuscan towns and places of interest.
