This beautiful spacious farmhouse, dates back to the 18th Century. It is situated in Lunigiana, a beautiful area still relatively undiscovered, rich in medieval castles. The house is surrounded by its own olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees and has wonderful views towards the mountains in the distance. The house has been completely renovated by the owner and furnished sympathetically, retaining original features. At the same time, the considerable modern comforts include an impressive 'cook's kitchen'. Outside, there is a very large terrace (with dining table and exterior lighting), and a Japanese-style garden with a very large free form swimming pool. There is a magical quality to this property with its hilltop setting, surrounding Tuscan countryside, friendly neighbors and unique Lunigian atmosphere. Once ensconced here, one need go no further. The nearby medieval town of Fivizzano offers food shops and some excellent restaurants. In summer time, almost every week there are lovely Festivals with food in the little villages of the Lunigiana.
